Meindl Bergell MFS Hiking Boot – SOLE B

Activities: challenging trekking in low mountains, light trekking Terrain: uneven trails, steep mountain trails Supportive boots made using high quality leather. The sole units are stiffer than an A/B grade boot and they provide more stability and underfoot support. Suitable for demanding walks in the Lake District, North Wales and Scotland, as well as lower level paths in the Alps or Pyrenees during the summer.

Meindl Bergell MFS Hiking Boot – MFS SYSTEM

Thanks to the Meindl Memory-Foam System, the boots in this range provide a perfect fit for your feet. By matching different foam types in the ankle and cuff area, the boots can adapt to various foot shapes, once warmed by the body. The boots therefore provide excellent comfort and a perfect fit. The cuff profile works while walking, stabilizes the feet, but does not compress them. This ensures the highest possible comfort! A technology that uses foam, which, thanks to the unique temperature recognition system, perfectly adapts to the shape of the foot.

Meindl Bergell MFS Hiking Boot – Cleaning:

• Remove footbeds to dry. If waxing your boots, remove the laces as well.
• Remove loose dirt and stones from both boot and sole under running water using a brush
• Never dry footwear near a source of direct heat, e.g. sunlight, radiators or stoves. Wet leather is very sensitive to heat and can become brittle, hard and cracked.

Leather boots and shoes (Symbol I)

• Use Meindl Sportwax each time you clean your boots
• Every third time, spray with Meindl Wetproof before using Meindl Sportwax
• The Meindl Wetproof will improve the water resistance of the leather
• Remember to treat soft areas such as the tongue and cuff

Nubuck leather boots and shoes (Symbol II)

• Smooth leather – treat regularly with Meindl Sportwax
• The Meindl Wetproof will improve the water resistance of the leather
• Nubuck leather/suede – spray frequently with Meindl Conditioner and Proofer
• In all cases, remember to treat soft areas such as the tongue and cuff

Fabric and Suede boots and shoes

• Use Meindl Conditioner and Proofer each time you clean your boots to protect them from drying out and becoming brittle
