The Development – Moonbag Changing Mat and Bag
In 1998 the Moonbag was developed as the original changing bag and mat.
The simple idea was to create a product which could be used in dirty car parks to get changed on after surfing. Once you had changed you could leave all your wet gear in the bag.
Almost 25 years later the Moonbag is used by all ages in many environments. The Moonbag is now as popular with children changing in their local swimming pool as it is with devoted surfers in Scotland.
About the Company – Frostfire
In 1998, the English entrepreneur and designer Chris Frost setup Frostfire after he dreamt of a changing mat and bag which could be used after surfing. The idea was to stand on the mat while changing and pull the drawstring to create the bag and keep all the wet gear contained. 25 years later the Frostfire Moonbag is still for sale and now sold worldwide.
