As our name suggests, our brand is inspired by a lifelong passion for fitness, adventure and the outdoors. Quality bikes are just the outcome of our lifestyle and personal involvement in the sport.
The Forme product range is truly Formed By The UK at every level. Our team consists of Elite National Road, MTB & Cyclo Cross Champions, World Cup level Downhill MTB riders, previous Specialist Bike Shop Managers, certified British Cycling Go-Ride Coaches and daily ride to workers! As a team, we are able to apply our collective knowledge to create the very best products we would want to ride.
Our Derbyshire base is a short ride from both the stunning scenery of the Peak District and the metropolitan buzz of Derby and Nottingham.
This privileged location, rich in cycling heritage, with its grovelling climbs, epic descents, state of the art velodrome and vibrant commuter belt has been inspirational to our unique approach of creating a range of cycles that has been developed by riders, for riders, in all disciplines and styles.
Defined by detail – built for all.
Following the launch of our brand in 2010, the goal at Forme has been simple: to create a product that encourages people to ride more, become fitter, and enjoy a more sustainable, hassle free cycling experience. Whether you are a kid learning how to ride a bike, racing cyclist, weekend trail warrior, urban commuter or simply enjoy exploring the thousands of traffic-free paths across the National Cycle Network, we take a function-driven approach with the product development of every model within our collection. We define by detail, then test, tweak and refine to ensure every bike offers the best technical features to maintain our everyday performance philosophy capable of handling typical 4-season British conditions.
What’s with the name?
Finding a name for a brand often comes down to gut instinct. To find a brand name and identity, we wanted to discover a name which resonated and supported our core values. Forme was arguably one of the most popular international words in a professional cyclists “peloton dictionary” and is globally recognised as a word associated with FITNESS & WELLBEING.
